Us
Ecological tourism
Bird watching at the Yacht is a product that develops ecological and environmental tourism in the Resort’s facilities, arouses curiosity and becomes a relaxing activity, with the geographical plus or benefit of being only minutes away from Asunción.
We live in a society that is often fast-paced and hyper-connected, and we feel and even seek to feel relief when we can pause that rhythm, living a different or not often practiced adventure in Paraguay, which allows us to get in touch with nature and discover the fantastic and wonderful world of birds in their natural habitat.
Sustainability
The sustainability of flora and fauna – taking the Resort area as the focus of action – generates community awareness that amplifies and improves our daily life, favoring the whole of Paraguay.
With information provided by biologists who have conducted a survey in the area, we have initiated concrete actions through the advice of landscapers to plant new species of trees and flowers that, in addition to attracting more species of birds and butterflies, allow us to preserve and improve the existing ecosystem.
The time has come to become protagonists helping to rebuild the planet by conserving the native vegetation, once again generating an appropriate ecosystem for biodiversity.
Corporate Social Responsibility
The axes on which the Bird Watching is based are to raise awareness about the value of the environment, the environmental education and the development of the society aiming at germinating the idea of conservation and the consequences of our daily actions on biodiversity.
One of the most important actions of the venture was to extend this experience to all social sectors by generating monthly quotas for low-income schools, who will be able to do the circuit at no cost and live the captivating experience.
In addition, our educational classrooms are spaces for clear proposals in our day to day, inculcating small and significant changes in habits such as: classifying garbage and disposing the same at the correct times and in appropriately, optimizing the use and consumption of water, taking good care of streams, rivers or any other water source and respecting the life of all species through the care, protection and commitment to natural environments, simple actions and at the same time fundamental to protect our Environment and the entire Planet Earth.
The Birds of Paraguay in numbers
Considering the birds that inhabit Paraguay, those that visit us in their migrations from the north to the south or vice versa, as well as other intra-tropical migrations, there are more than 710 species throughout the national territory.
Of these, about 400 species are seen in Asunción (one of the Capitals with the most bird species in the world!) And its surroundings, and a little less than half of this number of species can be seen and appreciated in the “Bird Watching Circuit of the Yacht” the first of its kind in Paraguay.
